One of the favourite hunting grounds of the high nobility before the time of the cold curse was the Hornforst. A forest that was already quite sparse in its original state was turned into a well-kept but still primordially graceful park forest through clearing and careful cultivation. The gamekeepers released all kinds of rare and sometimes enchanted animal species in the Hornforst, which were then hunted down in pleasure hunts.
It is said that the horn hunt, which only takes place every two dozen years, was a unique experience, and the few remaining trophy bows made of decorated unicorn horns are as valuable as they are powerful weapons.
