The first outpost south of the Tarkher mountain range. Tarkherheim is a small fortified garrisson with quarters and shops for the braves that venture south.

Tarkherheim is a border garrison that is beholden to Queen Shorres, a shrewd ruler who recognized how to exploit the situation:

None of the taverns, shops, medics and other services found in Tarkherheim are privately owned. Instead, they all work for the crown and funnel the wealth they take from the adventurers into the kingdoms coffers.

This serves two purposes - it keeps Tarkherheim as a bastion towards any potential threat from the South up and running, but also ensures that the riches don’t flow north in an uncontrolled way.
